Calling on all faculty and staff to be part of our Welcome to York Campaign!
Why Be a YU Belong Ambassador?
Orientation at York University serves to facilitate the transition of new students into our vibrant and diverse community. Our programming initiates their integration into the intellectual, cultural and social climate of the university. While a few dedicated groups are directly responsible for planning our orientation efforts, it is vitally important that everyone plays a role in welcoming new students, no matter how big or small.
A new student's first weeks on campus are transformative and will set the course for their years ahead. By simply being a friendly face who points out a building or helps to identify a course code, you'll be making a huge difference. This is why we are asking faculty, staff and upper-year students to sign up to be a YU Belong Ambassador and help us welcome the incoming class.
